DAVID RODWIN David is a writer, composer, actor/singer, director, amateur cellist and avid bowler. He is preparing to make his first feature film. "All Night". Previously, David created 9 evening-legnth works for the theatre ranging from avant-garde opera to one--man shows. He work was produced and developed by: The Public Theatre, The Eugene O'Neill Music Theatre Conference, American Opera Projects, Mabou Mines, Aspen Opera Theatre, The Disney/ASCAP Musical Theatre Workshop, LaMaMa, Here, The Duplex , The MIT Media Lab, Duke University, Union College, The Philidelphia Fringe Festival, Mobius, Pan 9, The Cleveland Public Theatre, The Atlantic Center for the Arts, Nautilus Music Theatre, NewOp, Chashama, Sacred Fools, Dixon Place, Berkfest, Roulette, Lilli's, and The Edinburgh Fringe Festival. He also wrote the songs to STAR DREK!: A Musical Parody (which had an 18 month Seattle run). David has written the short films Bounty of Joy (dir. Daedra Kaehler), Strung (dir. Marta Mastferrer) and written the music and lyrics for the movie musicals Side Effects (dir. Chris Grant) and Vicious Cycle (dir. Robert Prior). David was a composer in the 1997 ASK Theatre Projects (LA) and the 2001 New Dramatists Composer-Librettist Studio both run by Ben Krywosz who created the inspirationin design for Raw Impressions. David received his masters in music composition at Northwestern and studied with Steve Mackey at Princeton University, where he was also the music director of the a cappella group, The Tigertones.
