In 2002, a few months before we started RIPFest, we started RICT Raw Impressions Collaborattive Theatre. We ended up doing 3 variations on this - one for Circus and one performance art event called RIOT (Raw Impressions Out-of-the-box Theatre).

A month after RIPFest we started RIDT (Raw Impressions Dance Theatre) and made 18 dance theatre pieces over 3 events.

In the summer of 2004 we reorganized and focused our efforts solely on music theatre and film.

At that time we instituted the Raw Impressions Music Theatre Marathon running 3 RIMT events back to back to back in March. And we now hold a RIPFest in October and May each year. In the fall we make 6 short films in NY and in the Spring we make 7 Movie Musicals in NY&LA.
