New York, NY: Raw Impressions, Inc. will
produce seven short films for the sixth installment of its RIPFest
Film Festival. All films
will
be movie musicals and will be shown in New York on Monday May 23 & 24
at 8:00PM & 9:30PM at the Anthology Film Archives (32 Second
Ave. at 2nd Street) and in LA on May 23 (only) at 7:30pm at Laemmle

RIPFest is a guerrilla filmmaking process wherein professional filmmakers
who have never worked together are given sixteen days to collaborate
on and create original ten-minute works from scratch. The theme for
the films is "Without Thinking". Raw Impressions, winner of the 2004
Larson Award for Artistic Vision in Music Theatre
is the only non-profit company in the world to have a regular program
designed to create Movie Musicals. For RIPFest #6, half the films
will be created in NY the other half in LA. All films will be shown
on both
coasts at each screening.

provide. This year the participants include artists with careers in television,
film and Broadway. Including: Writers: Matt Prager (“South
