The Creative Team

Daniella Topol (Director) is dedicated to directing new work. She has directed readings, workshops, and productions of new plays and musicals for City Theatre, Connecticut Repertory, Ensemble Studio Theatre (Youngblood Series), Epiphany Theater Company, The Lark, HB Playwrights, Mill Mountain Theatre, New Georges, FringeNYC, New York Theatre Workshop Reading Series, NYU’s Department of Dramatic Writing, and the Women’s Project, among others. Formerly the Associate Producing Director at City Theatre in Pittsburgh, she is the New Works Program Director at the National Alliance for Musical Theatre. She is an NYTW Usual Suspect, Lark Associate Artist, First Look Directing Member, and Carnegie Mellon Directing Alum.

Daniel Feyer (Music Director) is very happy to be here for RIMT’s first Retrospective Revue! Previously with Raw Impressions, he was music director for RIMT Events #12 (“Perspectives”) and #13 (“Ceremony”). Dan has recently worked on several acclaimed new musicals with Prospect Theater Company (Illyria, The Alchemists, Dido [& Aeneas], all with music/lyrics by Peter Mills), serving variously as music director, arranger, and/or orchestrator. He has spent the last five summers at the Weston Playhouse in beautiful southern Vermont, music-directing Saturday Night (New England premiere), Smokey Joe’s Cafe, and Hello, Dolly!. Other NYC credits include: The Most Happy Fella, Sweeney Todd (both Blue Hill Troupe); Seven Brides... (CAP21); O Pioneers! (world premiere); Grand & Ogden, Hamlet Sings! (readings). Dan is a native of San Francisco and graduate of Princeton University.

Wendy Seyb (Choreographer) Trey Parker’s Cannibal! The Musical (The Kraine Theatre); 2001 Élan Awards; St. Marks The Remember Project; Madison Square Garden Knicks City Dancers; The Cardboard Moon and Betsy Blue (The Looking Glass Theatre); the Women’s Directors Forum; and Juilliard Graduate Directing Program. Orit Jacoby Carroll (Set Design) has designed The Hunger Waltz (Relentless Theatre Company); The Triumph Of Love (University of Rochester); the workshop of Denis Johnson’s Hellhound On My Trail (Atlantic Theater Company); Antigone, A.D. (Pilot House Theater Company); and The Drilling Company’s Connections. Associate Designer credits include the Broadway productions of Little Shop of Horrors, Nine, Take Me Out, Amour, and Urinetown. Orit previously worked as Associate Production Manager with the Atlantic Theater Company after many years in architectural design.

Heather has also assisted designers Anna Louizos, Tony Walton, and Antje Ellerman.
Andrew Hill (Lighting Design) Other recent work includes: Basil Twist’s Symphonie Fantastique and Petrushka, both at Lincoln Center; Len Jenkin’s Like I Say at the Flea Theater; Christopher William’s Virgo Genitrix at HERE; Mabou Mines’ Red Beads at MassMOCA; The Perfect Game exhibit at The American Folk Art Museum.

Lynnae K. Andersen (Stage Manager) is very pleased to be making her debut with the folks from Raw Impressions, Inc. She has stage managed and assisted on various regional and Off-Broadway productions. Her recent endeavors include Moonwork Productions’ critically acclaimed new adaptation of Julius Caesar as well as numerous productions at the Pearl Theatre Company here in New York.

Shani Colleen Murfin (Assistant Stage Manager) is extremely excited to join the team! Other NY credits include The Rocky Horror Show; Slut; The Winter's Tale in Central Park; Working - The Musical; and Jonathan Larson's Heirs. A million thanks to Mom for always being there, and MIGJD&A for being the best family ever. This one's for you, Dad!

PenneySeal Productions (Producer) Co-founded by Laura Penney and Jane Abramson, PenneySeal Productions is currently represented by the open-ended Bill Boggs’ Talk Show Confidential at the Triad Theater and will be opening The End of You (dir. Erica Schmidt) at the Lion Theater in May. Recent projects include the sold-out hit Slut at FringeNYC (dir. Sarah Gurfield); Deirdre (“Best of Festival” Producer’s Prize, Daniel Marshall Award Winner; 4th Annual TRU Voices New Musicals Reading Series); Peter Morris’ Breakfast in the Evil Empire (5th Annual TRU Voices New Plays Reading Series). By day, Jane is the Production Coordinator for The Lion King at Disney Theatrical Productions. After serving nearly three years as the Marketing Manager for TheaterMania.com, Laura is now acting as company manager for the Off-Broadway show Matt & Ben and is a graduate of the Commercial Theater Institute, which she attended thanks to a TRU scholarship.
